The Gallery is open whenever The Plough is open (unless pre-booked for a workshop) and entry is free at all times. Access is via the stairs and very soon via the about-to-be-refurbished lift! Everyone is welcome to attend the Sneak Previews as listed below. We positively welcome enquiries from artists wishing to exhibit/sell their work at the Plough. Please call before making a special journey as the Gallery is sometimes closed for meetings and workshops.

Landscapes
Kim Carlow
Fri 2 May – Sun 1 June
Kim Carlow has lived in North Devon for 10 years and has been continually inspired by the landscape about her. She studied for a Masters Degree in Fine Art Print-making at Chelsea College of Art and Design in 1990. This exhibition will focus predominantly on land and seascapes.

Print Inc
Double Elephant

Print Inc. is an exhibition showcasing the eclectic range of talents of the members and course participants at Double Elephant Print Workshop.
At the Exeter based workshop there is a strong grounding in the traditional methods of producing original print. This is creatively extended by the printmakers through the freedom to experiment. We hope you will be inspired by the work you see.
There is a special workshop to accompany this exhibition on Wednesday 11th June and Saturday 14th June.

Spice of Life
Dixie Appleton-Whal

Dixie Appleton-Wahl is a colourful and exciting North Devon artist. Her varied exhibition, "Spice of Life", diverse in media and subject matter, is united by the artist’s love of colour, form and texture. Her paintings spring from such inspirations as living and travelling in Mexico, Guatemala and Africa, dancing, and daily walks on the pebble ridge at Westward Ho! Her "unstill lifes" represent emotions and relationships and the often curious interactions of daily life.

Exhibition of Work
by Simon Moore

"Creative design and making is core to all projects and objects. Material qualities and craft skills are used to enhance all important details of my work". Simon Moore has worked as creative director for Salviati and Design Director for Dartington Crystal. In addition to his love of glass, in recent years Simon has rediscovered his passion for ceramics . This fascinating exhibition highlights his desire to nurture and care for his own creativity.
