The Plough Arts Centre has two exhibition spaces which house monthly exhibitions. We aim to provide an eclectic mixture of styles and mediums from artists across the South West.
Artists who are interested in applying for an exhibition at The Plough are invited to submit an application to the Visual Arts Manager enclosing an exhibition proposal, sample images, an artist’s statement and cv.
Main Gallery.
The Main Gallery, situated on the first floor, is approximately 11 x 7 metres. This light and airy space with wooden flooring is painted white, the skylights and large Victorian windows provide ample natural lighting.
This gallery is programmed yearly in advance. Exhibitions are selected from artists who apply or may be programmed to coincide with regional or national events. In addition we hold three annual collective exhibitions to which artists are invited to submit entries.
